Send us a copy of your degree
To confirm sizing and colours, we request that you provide a copy of your degree when ordering
a frame. You may choose to provide the copy using either the form below, via email to
info@phillipsandfather.com,
or by mailing or faxing to us.
Uploading your degree copy
There are a few important points to note when sending the copy to us using this upload form.
- The popular image file formats JPEG, GIF and
PNG are supported.
- There is a file size limit of 2,000KB (2MB) - if your file is larger than
this it will be rejected.
How do I send my degree electronically? Follow these simple instructions.
Preparing your file using a scanner
If you are scanning your degree to obtain an electronic copy, it is suggested that you
select either JPEG or GIF format for saving the scan to your computer. Additionally, be aware
that some scanners automatically produce images with large dimensions which means the file
will be bigger (and may be over the 2MB limit). Try to make sure that the height is
somewhere close to 1000 pixels. If you can't change these settings while scanning, read on to
find out how to change the file afterwards.
The "Paint" program included with Windows is all you'll need to make your image a suitable size
and saved in an accepted format. Just follow these steps:
- Click the Start button, select Run (alternatively,
hold your Windows key and press R) and in the box that appears, type in
mspaint and click OK.
- When Paint appears, choose File and then Open...
from the menu. Browse for the image file on your computer and open it.
- You can shrink the image using the Stretch/Skew... option from the
Image menu. Set both the Horizontal and Vertical percentage values to,
say, 50 then click OK. Repeat this step until the image is sufficiently small
(the dimensions of your screen is about the right size).
- From the File menu, choose Save As... and at the
bottom of the window, set the Save as type to JPEG. Make
a note of the folder you are saving in, then click Save.
- Click the Browse button below, and locate the file you just saved.
Then click the Upload button.
Note: The time it takes for the file to upload will vary depending on many
factors, including the file size of your scan and the speed of your internet connection.
Please be patient.
Add frame to cart
We use the copy of your degree to confirm sizing and colours. If you can provide a copy
to upload using the form above, then proceed using that method and you will be able to add
to cart in the following step.
If you wish to provide your copy using other means (as mentioned above), you can add
to your cart without attaching an image:
